Someone has stolen King Neptune's crown, and it looks like Mr. Krabs is the culprit! Though he's just been passed over for the promotion of his dreams, SpongeBob stands by his boss and along with his best pal Patrick, sets out on a treacherous mission to Shell City to reclaim the crown and save Mr. Krabs's life. If Spongebob doesn't help save Mr.Krabs he will get killed by Neputue. Spongebob sets out his journey to go find Neptune's crowns and on his way there were always stumps on his way. There was always something happening to them at every stop they went at.
If you guys like the TV show then you will like the movie way more. This movie however is basically devoid of most of these things. Aside from 2 or 3 scenes and jokes, this movie feels like it wasn't written by the same people who write for the show, or perhaps when confronted by a longer running time they choked? Still other made for TV feature length Sponge Bob movies were funnier and more in tune with the show. The film is well animated, with a lot of snarky humor. The plot of the story was fine and wanted me to keep watching what will happen next. The humorous jokes that the auther adds makes the movie a lot better than it already is. The movie is great for children that love the TV show. It just like the TV but, Longer with more effort added too it.
